The Bernal Yoga Literary Series continued its 2010-2011 season with poet Dean Rader and fiction writers Noria Jablonski and Dana Kletter. Local authors Dunstan Christopher, Christian Gullette, and Kim Wood, also shared their work.

Everything you ever wanted to know about Noria, Dana and Dean:

Noria Jablonski is the author of the story collection Human Oddities (Counterpoint, 2005). Her stories have appeared in Five Chapters, Swink, Monkeybicycle, KGB Bar Lit, and the anthology Who Can Save Us Now?: Brand-New Superheroes and Their Amazing (Short) Stories. She was a 2007 Artist-in-Residence at the Headlands Center for the Arts.

Dana Kletter is a writer, musician, teacher, and current Stegner Fellow at Stanford. Her work appears in the Michigan Quarterly Review, the San Francisco Chronicle, the Boston Phoenix and on Interscope, Rykdodisc and Mammoth Records. She lives in the Sunset and drinks too much coffee.

Dean Rader’s first book of poems, Works & Days, won the 2010 T. S. Eliot Poetry Prize. Other honors include the 2008 Crab Creek Review Poetry Prize and the 2009 Sow’s Ear Poetry Prize. He writes about the intersection of literature, media, culture and politics at SFGate, is a professor of English at the University of San Francisco.
